To empower participants with knowledge and practice on the principles and methods of biodiversity data quality and cleaning.

  • Contents

    This theoretical and practical course will explain the principles of data quality, and seek their application through data detection and cleaning practices, with practical examples.

Recipients

Professionals in the field, researchers, postgraduates, teachers.

Requirements

Computer with internet access. Previous experience in recording, maintaining and managing biodiversity data favors better use of the course, but these are not requirements. Ideally, participants in this course should bring a biodiversity dataset to carry out the practical parts of quality control, detection and data cleaning. If you are unable to bring this dataset, one will be provided as an example.
